rattlesnake: my friend, there are too many of us to control everthing:) I’m glad that I felt your support during the creation of my battle. Thank you and good luck!

Hi there mate, I have problems with reaching such result with your terrain tutorial. Everything looks not that good:shrug: And one more thing… I found some errors in your work:twisted: Some of the laser shots are there, where they shouldn’t be judgeing by the situation on the battlefield:scream: But But it’s hard to see it as there are too many lights I think. Will you prepare the making of even if you aren’t among the top 15 shortlisted works? I think your work is good, but I’m not sure if it reaches top 15. Best of luck my friend!

• Just droping by to say Hello artur, and To wish u all the luck!

This scene is crazy, and thats what makes it so cool!

Your attention to detail is stunning, very good work!

#965

graga: hmm… really don’t know can go wrong with the tutorial, but remember that I tweaked my mountains a lot with FDD modifier and than more as editable poly. And to have a good base for the tweas you need to have a good displacement map… maybe you made too big differences in white and dark and too “strong” borders betwean colors. Make more smooth gradients, but some harder borders are also necessary for same cliffs and peaks, just not too much of them. And as far as laser shots are concerned you are probably right, but remember that it’s just a part of a great battle so some shots come from the units which are out of the view:)

Climax: yap, thanks mate! and remember about those beers when we will meet in some ILM like company:twisted:

AgentPrometheus: heh, it’s creazy and I wanted it to be like that. I’m glad you don’t think that this chaos crushes the picture

hey… man… very nice modeling …and skecthes amazing… …good work…

#967

• Many good friends came to my thread, something I could never stop thanking, all the encouraging words and help were priceless from all of them, it was kind of hard to decide, but Artur, I think I made a good choice, so my comunity award vote…Is 4 u

#968

eduardo buitrago: thanks, I’m glad that you like it:bounce:

Climax: thank you my friend! I’m really happy that I could help a bit, and “interact” with so many great artists. It was a real pleasure and wonderful learning experience.

#969

Yes…one communtiy vote from me also…over 1000 posts in 3 months…thats amazing man…and so Is your image…you should submit it for Expose 3 I think…anyways very nice to meet you Artur…looking forward to your next entry… )))

#970

It was not amazing… all those posts, it was a real pleasure:) I just found it great to ask others about something, advice, on the other side answer, telling how I did certain things. And the next challenge is close:twisted:
Only the sad thing is that it’s hardly possible to be active in each thread, just too many of us. And I think that this all community interaction voting should be done in a different way, because for example my “vafourite helpers” weren’t mentioned there. And I think that many people feel the same, it’s just becasue it’s impossible to be everywhere:)
And if they took the amount of posts under consideration, why then baby is not there:)? He made I think many, many posts, with all his funny banana talking.
