GPU for VFX?

Hi folks! I try to build a new desktop system but I’m not sure about the graphic card, there’s so much happening there atm, I have no idea what to buy. I have about 300$ for it. Here are the options:

  • a second hand quadro 2000
  • second hand AMD V5900
  • AMD Radeon HD7950
  • or one of the new kepler consumer cards

I mostly work with Nuke, 3DS Max, Maya, AE and Avid Media Composer.
What would you say, how important is the CUDA support for this Software? What do you know about the new Kepler Chips and which of those cards would be an option? I heard the cheap Kepler are already faster than the old Quadros, is that true?
