GoZ 4R5 on Maya versions

#1

I can’t get maya to send GoZ mesh back to zBrush. 4R5 sends over to 2013 fine, Maya seems like its sending, meaning the dialogue box pops up sometimes but not always and then the progress bar. But still it doesn’t send (I then manually activate 4R5 to see).
What’s the deal?

Before the update I had my zbrush goz setup that could pick between Maya 2012 and 2013. I noticed that 4r5 only allowed me to find preset paths to only one version of the other apps I have installed, like Cinema 4d.

I thought I could just duplicate the Maya folder in the GoZApps directory, then go into the config and info text file and change the path to reflect the new renamed “Maya 2013” or “Maya 2012”.

How do I get GoZ to make Maya send a file back to zBrush?
How do I get GoZ to see and toggle between both versions of Maya 2012 and 2013?

Is this link still applicable?:

If it is, something still isn’t working.

Thx again.

Just uninstalled 4R5 and installed 4R4.
Can anyone tell me how to get GoZ to pick between Maya 2012 and 2013?

I thought all I had to do is to duplicate the Maya folder from with the enclosing GoZApps then rename the newly duplicated folder to “Maya 2012” or “Maya 2013”.

By the way, 4R5 GoZ seems to not work right on Mac. (Subtool Master won’t export without an error message) for starters.

Help!
