Goldeneye: Source - Jobs Open

Fistly, A bit out our project:

GoldenEye: Source is a modification of Half-Life 2, with only one goal in mind; to bring the memories and experiences from the original GoldenEye64 back to life using Source Technology. We want you to look at this mod and remember the first best multiplayer first-person shooter ever made. We are doing our best to bring in the opinions of the community to create a game that everyone is going to enjoy. But, we are not here to recreate the game exactly how it was in GE64, a lot of things have changed since they first designed that game, mainly in technology and gamers experiences. We are here to take the game even further but at the same time provide a lot of those fun elements that hardcore GE64 fans will enjoy. We’ve got experienced team members all across the board, from professional level, to amateurs looking to make it into the business working hard to make this dream a reality. Screenshots!

We have some new jobs open that some of you might be interested in. These include:

Programmer
We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic C++ programmer to join the team. Experience with a wide range of game and low level systems (networking, graphics, physics, memory management etc) will be useful, but not essential. Experience developing a recent game on PC would also be helpful, especially dealing with PC specific issues such as installers, network middleware issues, scalable machine specs etc. This is a great opportunity to be involved with an exciting mod, and become part of an experienced and friendly team. 2D Artist\Skinner
We are currently looking for about 1-2 additional skinners, which will be working mainly on our weapon skins, and later will be working on character skins, if capable. We’re looking for experienced skinners, preferably experienced in previous mod, or game development. More Info

3D Artist\Character Modeler
We are looking for a character modeler to join our talented character team. Applicants are required to have an understanding of constructing low resolution geometry that deforms correctly when weighted to a skeleton system. It would be useful if you have an understanding of applying UVs to a model and laying out UVs for texturing too. Also any experience using Photoshop is a bonus too, but again, it is not essential. Animator
To help us breathe life into the characters and weapons for our highly anticipated mod, we are currently looking for a animator to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work for an amazing team and help in creating the most stunning looking and believably animated characters and recreate the classic goldeneye weapon animations for our eagerly awaited upcoming mod. Applicants are required to have an understanding of all animation principals, have a good eye for natural human motion and the drive to recreate this in game. More Info

Audio\Sound Effects
We are looking for an audio designer to join our talented audio team. Applicants are required to have an understanding of working with game Sound Effects. It would be useful if you have an understanding of implementing sounds into the game. More Info
