hi guys, I need some help about glow effects.i CANNOT MAKE A GLOWING MATERIAL BEHIND A GLASS OBJECT IF ANYONE CAN HELP WITH THIS ONE I REALLY APPRECIATE IT THANKS!!!

are you using a mental ray glowing material or just the standard glow from lens effects?
I dont know about mental ray, but the lens effects glow does work on an object inside or behind a raytraced object.
glowing torus reflected in a raytrace material sphere
torus inside the sphere
this works in MAX 7, but if remember it didnt work in MAX 5. I’m not sure about 6.
what kind of materials are you using?
