Glass Table in Vray (Maya)

Hi,

I’m clueless on how to make this glass table better, can the texture gods of cgsociety please help me?

Put on a Black diffuse color (almost black, actually… somethiing like 3 or 4 will do)
Give it some refraction, enable ‘affect shadows’, enable ‘fresnel’
put on some reflection… 180 maybe
if you want to simulate imperfection on the surface of the glass, assign a small noise map in the bump
increase max depth

that will do for a start
