I submitted this at conceptart too, just in case.
I worked on these two from low res pictures (200x 150 pixels) on Phtshop. The objective was to give them a feel of texture better off than a picture could get. It was a first stab at the technique. Crits will be very welcome.

wow, i really like the top one. the texture on the shirt and underware is good. i like how the little bits and pieces that are masked on her have a thick black border. the bottom one is ok, but it’s not as good as the top one because it just seems a lot more plain. it kind of needs something more interesting going on with the environment or else it just looks like a naked oily woman. as far as the texture on her, the highlights seem ok, but i think you need more shadow to add more contrast. also, you could try adding highlights to her hair. pretty good though.
