This could have been mentioned already. When I transfer a few shapes from one object to another only the names of the shapes are getting transfered not the actual shapes ?
GATOR Problem
Very silly question: Did you place the two objects on top of each other?
Otherwise, the only time I had a problem with GATOR was when I had enveloping on the target object. To cut a long story short, temporarily muting the envelope operator solved the problem and the shapes transferred just fine.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for replying. As for placing the objects on top of each other, no I didn’t do that.
I don’t have any envelopes on the object, I don’t know how to get the actual shape to transfer.
With “the names of the shapes” what do you mean? That shape maps were created in the right cluster, but they contain no actual displacement vectors?
Have you tried adding them to the mixer and dialing them in after they were transfered?
The Shape names were transfered correctly. There eye balls and I want the shapes from one eye ball to the other. I even checked the mixer and it looks fine, although only the name of the shape not the actual vector displacement of the shape is on the other eye ball only the name. I’ve tried GATOR numerous times playing with various settings even if they related to the problem or not and still no no result.
