Gap between nHair and nCloth

#1

Hi

I was wondering if somebody can help shed some light for me:

1.) I have a ncloth object which i have attached nHair to selected faces on the ncloth object

2.) Simulate it for hair to drop. I then set the ncloth object to current state (under Fields/Solver => Initial State => Set from Mesh) and nhair to current state (nHair => Set Start Position => From Current), then roll back to frame 1.

3.) However, there is a visible gap between the ncloth object and nhair.

How do I resolve this so that I don’t have a gap? Been pulling my hair on this. Running on Maya 2018, but had tested on maya 2017 with same results too.

Check your collision thickness on the nCloth and hair. Sounds like turning those down might solve the problem.
