Yes I am a senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and my major is Interactive Design and Game Developement. The school was just awarded the best art school in the U.S.A. This school is great. All the profesores are from the industry and really now what they are teaching. Scad started to host the GDX every year at the Atlanta school and the students got to see and talk to the head of Epic Games about the new upcomming game Gears of War and to many other people from thew gaming industry.

I have study in IUT Clermont-Ferrand : http://iutweb-lepuy.u-clermont1.fr/index.html

Not per semester. I’m paying about 820 € per month. Studying “Game Art & Animation” takes 2 years (4 Semesters), so it will be something bedween 15.000 and 20.000 € for the whole course of studies.
It’s a lot of money, but with some educational supports like the “BAföG” and/or the “Bildungskredit” it is possible to pay. The problem is, that all courses are still held in german.
Well, as far as I know we had one stundent from Russia and one from France the last 2 years. But the cool thing is, the Games-Academy is visiting the Games-Convention as well as
the GC-Developer-Conference and much more. And our lecturers are coming directly from the games-and film-industry, so you can build up really cool contacts pretty easy.
Especially for german-speaking people who want to go the direct way into the Games-Industry I can only recommend the Games-Academy.
