Not per semester. I’m paying about 820 per month. Studying “Game Art & Animation” takes 2 years (4 Semesters), so it will be something bedween 15.000 and 20.000 for the whole course of studies.
It’s a lot of money, but with some educational supports like the “BAföG” and/or the “Bildungskredit” it is possible to pay. The problem is, that all courses are still held in german.
Well, as far as I know we had one stundent from Russia and one from France the last 2 years. But the cool thing is, the Games-Academy is visiting the Games-Convention as well as
the GC-Developer-Conference and much more. And our lecturers are coming directly from the games-and film-industry, so you can build up really cool contacts pretty easy.
Especially for german-speaking people who want to go the direct way into the Games-Industry I can only recommend the Games-Academy.
