Game Dev Systems

#1

Hi all,
I’m helping a newly formed game development studio get started. They are interested in creating Playstation titles. I’m trying to find out the cost of development stations for the Playstation system; both programmer and artist. So, if anyone can tell me how much these systems cost and perhaps any other requirements (like the Xbox 360 dev systems are restricted to approved studios) that would be great.
PS: I’ve search Sony’s website to no avail.
Much thanks in advance,

Hi All,
Anyone can help me solve this question.
I use Maya 6 to create spot light include property of light (intensity, cone, color, position, direction,…) and export all into a .mi file format (file type is mentalRay when I export from Maya)
so my question:
Was .mi file format supported in directX 9?
if not, what files were directX 9 supported? Can I use what thing to export the prperty of light into these file format?
Thanks for any help!

toan1982: Your just being plain rude dude. This aint the way to get attention. If somebody doesn’t reply on you question or doesn’t give a satisfactory awnser, you’ll just have to live with the fact that probably nobody knows the awnser. But please DO NOT trash somebody else’s topic. It irritates people and is just really rude.
