I’m just into tags right now, as I started 3 months ago, but tell me how it is?

Did you actually create the artworks you posted, or you simply took other people’s work and cropped/tweaked them? If it’s the latter, then I don’t think you’ll get any meaningful response from members here. This is a community of artists, and people want to see artwork that you actually created yourself.
No
these are all original pieces that I created? If you’re gunna accuse me right away after joining, why would I wanna stay. Not very friendly IMO. My alias’ on the internet are known as JP Astro, JP , Karl I have really only posted on thetechgame and rsps’ so don’t even say I rip.
Dissappointed already with this forum. Such a long response time and even when I do get a response, I get accused of ripping …
To be already said I am ripping shows how friendly this community is. Of course this is my work, I would post nothing different. I have a small PS knowledge because it has only been 3 months, but this is my work. I have alias’ on the internet known as JP Astro, JP, and Karl. I’ve mainly posted on video game forums but I wanted sme professional input, I guess I was wrong when I looked for that.
Sorry I won’t be active on these forums anymore if the members treat me like this…

Your tag for Metroid contains an official artwork of the game Metroid Prime 3 on Wii. It’s a derivative work and simply can’t be considered as personal and original even if you tweaked/painted over things on it by yourself.
I did not say if you did or didn’t do the artworks you posted–I simply asked you if you did. Usually when artists post their work for peer review and/or to share with the community of CG artists, they would go into detail about what 3D software they used for modelling, texturing, rendering, etc, and they will talk about their artworks in a way that artists usually do–sharing their ideas and thoughts on the creative process.
And it’s also very odd for someone to post tags instead of the full blown artworks the tags are based on. It just doesn’t make any sense to make the tags the focus instead of the artwork–unless of course, the person didn’t do the artworks and can only make tags. And if you say you did all the artworks, can you show us wireframes or any other screenshots of the viewport? Most people would ask to see them–it’s very common in any community of 3D artists.
Luna is not accusing you, as he said, he’s just a little more forward than some people - it’s not a bad thing, he has very, very good advice to give. What he asked you is a legitimate question for this forum, and this site, because this forum focuses on not just showing finished work, wether it’s a whole painting or a tag, but like Luna said, exploring the process. We do get people posting work that should be in other forums, that’s all. Luna is a good guy who helps a lot of people, I can assure you he didn’t post that to insult you.
I would advise you, and this is coming from my experience of working as a professional published artist for over 20 years, is to have a little more thick skin, and don’t take offense so quickly. This forum is volunteer, I come by when I can, and sometimes i can go weeks without time to drop by. I do it because I honestly love helping people learn to be artists, but i’ll be less prone to help someone if they demand responses or help, when I have no responsibility to do so, and that’s the same for anyone else who posts here. It’s nobody’s job to respond to you, if you want guaranteed responses, join an art class, and the teacher can give you their undivided attention. Sometimes it takes a while for people to respond, this isn’t a high-traffic forum. Sometimes, and I know I do this all the time, I just don’t have anything to say, or don’t think I can offer any ideas or advice. Sometimes, someone might say something that rubs you the wrong way, too - not all of the members here speak English as their first language, so sometimes you have to be patient and reread comments to see what they’re trying to communicate, and sometimes they just don’t know the right words.
Having said all that, what would you like to accomplish here? Would you like to improve your technique? Can you post the larger images, not the tags, so we can look at bigger versions, so we can see your technique, and discuss composition and color composition?
Looking at your work, I can see some areas where you could improve, mostly in your values and how they’re off balance. If you’d like to discuss that more, post the entire image, and we’ll talk, okay? It’s hard to work in this context with the small format of a tag.
I have to side with Zhim. I found major elements in your Optimus on the guide of the Transformers game…
You have an impressive portfolio of work JP17. Any other original works that we can see (I mean prior to the application of PS filters, text, crops, and image size reductions)? I like the Halo one but couldn’t find your original image. Where is that one?

Oh, get over yourself.
You’ve nicked a bunch of paintings off the web, cropped them, stuck some shitty fonts in there, blended a few layers with FX elements and now think you’re a leet arteest. You want some professional input? Well you’ve got some right here - the problem is that you can’t even fathom what it means to be a professional. You’re probably used to having your ego stroked by clueless gamers who praise you for your “leet Photoshop skillz” in between fapping over pictures of anime chicks and bragging about COD k/d ratios.
Go look up the “Dunning Kruger effect” and have a nice, long think about it. And stop stealing artwork.
