GAC #11: George Washington - General & First President

I decided to enter even though i’m a novice, i might drop out if i have to. but for now i’m thinkin of doing george washington (hope he isn’t too recent) not sure about a backstory yet. maybe something about him being reincarnated. his weapons will be a golden musket and the general’s saber mkII. more to come.

I’m entering too and this will be my first model. I’m still searching for a character to do though.

thanks man, i think i will, the only real reason i’d wuit is if i got bored with the model before i finish it, which i am known to do pretty often, oh well, here’s the boots, more updates later. so far i think i’ll model this like a combination of george washington and Sephiroth (who i practically worship) the story is this “The almighty has been watching the situation in the world right now and decided to send someone strong enough and that has the leadership abilities required to wipe out all the evil on the planet. Thus George Washington Incarnate fell from the sky.”

i can’t draw to save my life so i’ll just describe what i’m picturing for charatcer design:

  • 2, maybe 4 (2 big, 2 small) white angel wings with gold highlights
  • a navy blue military trenchcoat with gold buckles, buttons and rank stripes that go higher than general. (since he’s now ascended even that because he fights on behalf of god.)
  • white pants and a frilly white shirt.
  • both forearms have gold bracers with the words “in god” ingraved on one and “we trust” ingraved on the other.
  • his hair will be the standard wig but longer and i dunno, cooler…? i’ll figure that out.
  • as i said before his sword will be the General’s Saber MKII which in this case means big and powerful. His long range Musket is standard but with gold parts rather than regular metal.

i think that’s it for now.
