I decied I will model his arms. Maybe I´ll go for a sleeveless (spelling?) shirt, sort of like in the old beat 'em ups, like Double Dragon…
Anyways, here´s a update. Made him a little bit msucular, afterall he´s supposed to be a fighter…

I think you should add muscles. It is a fighting game. Don’t make him huge but make him solid and wirey. No more muscle mass but more muscle definition.
looking great Ivars. yeah, i think his arms could do with another inch. the crease running down his forearm seems a little out too. i sort of expect it to be directed more towards his wrist than it is here. could just be the specularity throwing me off though.
great work on the fabric and the boots. this is coming along really well.

pluckylump: Thank you for your comment. I´m not sure, I kinda like that he looks “normal”, haven´t seen too much of that in fighting games. Characters are often very buff, or very fat
But I´ll think about it. Maybe just a little more defenition…

Ah, he’s looking really nice! Only one thing really jumps out at me and yells ‘WRONG!’… And that would be the fingers… They are, at least to me, too short. Looks like someone took the the top bit off all his fingers
Don’t tell me you can’t see it? Or maybe it’s that they are fine in regards to length, but too thick. I don’t know. But I’m sure something is off there… Other then that, great work, keep it up!

Here´s a minor update almost done with the highpoly modelling. I´m thinking of giving him a gun, in a holster. But he will mainly be a fist-fighting guy. Still a long way to go.

I gave him slightly more muscle-defenition on his upper body. (like pluckylump suggested
) But still I didn´t want to make him look too fit…
Excellent work modeling - really well done, but although he looks a lot like che, he looks pretty plain for a beat em up character - let alone a capcom one.
Isnt there anything else you can do to make the design a little more intresting?
I would find it hard to do too - aside from maybe a flag, he hasnt really got any iconic items that can be used as a silly beat em up weapon to spruce up his look.

I didn´t want to make him look too much Capcom. I would like to see a fighting-game-character that´s not so exaggerated.
But you´re right that he may need some attribute that makes him stand out a bit… I´ll see what I can come up with.
Time is running out for me. Gotta finish this very soon, because I have important stuff comming up 
I´m trying to give him some military equipment. To accentuate that he is a military leader… plus it might look cool
