GAC 11: Alexander the Great

This is my first GAC so well see how well this works out for me…I did a quick search for Alexander the Great and I didnt see any posts laying claim to him so lets get to it :slight_smile:

Alright, some more info on what ill be doing…

Alexander the great was a great military mind and in general a badass…My version of the Alexander the Great will mix the old style armor and style with a bit of futuristic robotics…

Special Features Include:
#1 Right arm will be a launchable spear that can be retracted to drag pierced enemy or be retracted to refire or used as a as weapon attached to the arm
#2 The gold armor Alexander the Great really wore

Onto the story:
What if Alexander never died of a mystery disease…It was simply a bump in the road of life… Alexander fell on the field of battle, just another enemy he thought…Until the hordes of men, screaming, yelling and crying to instill anger and fear came rushing out of the woods on all sides of Alexanders great army while they were fighting an already worthy opponent. Cheaters…dishonorable he thought to himself while laying bloody on the field of battle…He vowed revenge on these men…not even men…cowards… His time for revenge is now…The horde, thinking they found great victory and pride in cutting off his arms, his legs and beheading him were wrong…The heart that led his people, his army was coming back from the grave to repay the favor…

An update! Holy crap an update!
Yes, an update, I have thought alot about this and have made up my mind that I chose a hard person to do…Why? Because hes already a bad ass, how are you supposed to make him better, a civilian, or someone that was not considered a fighter or a warrior seems easier, anyway, I have decided on certain things pertaining to weaponry, style, etc. I will be keeping his signature body armor as that almost seems to be a trademark of sorts, with that I give you a render, this is about 20-30 minutes of work.

Keep going! The oblique part of the armor looks sorta uniform though. Are you using http://www.markchurms.com/Merchant2/graphics/alexander-d.jpg this as a reference?

Mack, indeed I am using that and a few others as references, I thought about it and I made them a little less uniform, heres the main chest armor just about done.
