Looking rad. Will you be replacing the clouds with animated ones? Just an idea but what if you did the whole thing in black/white with that old timey look? Also be sure to add a little more lighting for the top of the car because right now it sorta blends into the background a bit.

At the moment im not going to change the clouds… if i had time I may do it…
Yeah i have been thinking about it and will be going with the old film effect, so no colours.
Thanks about the light, Ill test that out soon, just busy with all the flying steam :argh:

Seeing the new date made me slow down and breathe again! :slight_smile: here is the line of animation…
I still want to do the steam shadows, fix some of them…

cool… it’s kinda hard to see what’s fire and what’s smoke, but I really haven’t got any ideas how you should change that… maybe look at some old photographs of fire…
Other than that your shadow on the ground might be too dark… can’t really figure if it’s because of the grading but my eye kinda expects to see a little bit of texture there.
The smoke should probably also be affected by the shadow.

Finally I think it’s a cool project overall and I really like your design!

Hey thanks Doerge, hope i worked it out here.

Nonetheless, here is my final entry, done and posted. Thanks to everyone who commented and watched this. Truly appreciate it. It was a great learning experience, and I’m glad I participated.
