FumeFX UI problem - Max 2009, Windows 7

Hey all,

I’m sure there have been other posts regarding this very issue, but I have not found any that contain a real solution to this problem. I’m running 3DS Max 2009 on Windows 7, FumeFX 1.2c.

This is what happens. I open 3DS Max, and create a FumeFX simulation container. At this point, I can open and close the FumeFX UI window as many times as I want. But, as SOON as I de-select the simulation container, I can’t open the UI window anymore, until I restart Max.

So I can’t create simulations, or do anything else with FumeFX.

I would really appreciate any help with this, as I have yet to find a solution for this problem. Is anyone else experiencing this?
