FumeFx Emergency Problem

Hi everyone.I have a big and annoying problem.Here it is,i created a fumefx and made a animation.My camera is passing the rooms and when camera get in to the fumefx’s field,fire and smoke is disappearing.Its like,i want to get camera in the smoke and fire but i can’t.When i get camera out of fume fx fields,fire and smoke appear.What should i do to fix this problem ? Pls help me,its very important.Thanks.

Bariscan,
We just ran into the same problem.
It seems atmosphere effects are not visible while the camera is in the fumefx grid.

We had to move ours outside the grid to get it to work.

What if you changed the focal length of the camers and effectively zoomed in from out side the grid?

Thank you for reply.I tried and worked well but i wanna use dof so same problem appear again.Now i am using vray but i couldnt find any solution to save and read gi.In mental ray its so easy but vray like hell and i have some object motion so i stuck.Can you offer me something to fix this problem.Thank you so much.

can not confirm that!
we “flying” a lot inside FFX containers and all renders without appreciable issues.
we use VRay 1.50 SP2

Does it only work with Vray or can you fly inside the FFX grid using MT too?

Its work well both of them but only mental ray we need to increase focal depht to out of grid,its only work this.But i have target camera for dof and i am using 15mm camera.So target of camera gets in to the ffx grid and it cause the same problem.I am using vray 1.50 sp2 now but calculate the gi like hell,it takes so long,i am using 1.irradiance map 2.none with high quality.Could you offer me something to increase calculating gi?

yeah that’s strange… I move target cams through FFX grids all the time with scanline and vray

Yeah its work with scanline and vray just not with mental ray…
