FumeFX: Custom Lights Plugin

FUMEFX CUSTOM LIGHTS

Last days i’ve been making this plugin that makes FumeFx lights. When created they have:

[ul]
[li]Shadows enabled[/li][li]Raytraced Shadows[/li][li]Atmosphere Shadows enabled[/li][/ul]“FFX Omni”

This creates a light with the above settings and also adds it to all FumeFX containers in the scene.*

“FFX Omni (sel)”

This creates a light with the above settings and also adds it to the selected FumeFX containers.*

*FumeFX container names don't matter. The lights will identify them.

I will post the plugin soon.

Thats a pretty nice tool! Good job!

Haha, cool

I gave the plugin to 2 friends, and they said it’d be cool that the user set the default color of the light and shadow type, so, always they create a light it will have their custom settings.
I’m working on that right now

pretty cool those tools.

just one thing concerning the omnis. fume is always doing shadow maps as much as I understand the technique. not sure if this works well with omnis as it’s a spherical projection which is hard to achieve and becomes lower res the further the voxel is from the light.
