FumeFx burn_mask problem

Hello. I have some trouble here. I put bw mask where the smoke should appear (dust shokwawe right befor explotion on the ground), everything is fine exept render. I use really detailed Sim Area (279x400x320) and here what ive got. And i cant get rid of this checker looking smoke, if i reduse SimArea, it does not help at all. Any suggestions?

hmm, i would try first increasing the simulation steps, is your mask moving really fast then you have to increase the steps.

also maybe some motion blur will clear that up as well. try those two things first.

my mask doesnt move at all. I did try steps up to 3 with 300 Max Iter and quality 10. Just the same picture. Motion blur can help a bit, but i try to find solution without any bluring stuff, why it cant simulate just simple smooth smoke?

this render with 10 quality, 200 Iter and 10 steps.

what happens if you decrease Step Size to 10 in Fume Render settings and Jitter to 5-15 ??

Totally looks like a voxel size + additive smoke issue (meaning your voxels are fully populated with smoke), smaller voxels and as Bandu suggested soften it with the jitter value in the render tab, you can also decrease its noticeability by tweaking the smokes AFC curve and gradient.
