Hy! I currently installed fumefx 1.2 d on my (fresh installed) 3d max 2010 (widows xp service pack 2) and I cannot register it… When I click authorize it shows me this:
trying to connect…
error connecting the socket()
this may be solved by restarting the windows or manually starting the windows service called dcpflics
It doesn’t show me the registration window… Just this error all over gain…
I tried to start the dcpflics and there everything was good! (DCPFLICS installed and “Service is running” was written!)
I also tried to restart my pc and to try with the closed antivirus but didn’t work…
What could it be??
I want to mention that I have internet explorer 7 as I saw its a but with ie8!
PLS help me and reply as soon as you can!
I searched for an answer for more than 2 weeks…
