fume grid vs max grid

How does general max grid scale and fumefx grid scale work. How is the relation between Default max grid and fume voxel grid?

The max grid is by default AFAIK based on 10’s units (it can be whatever you set it too as well)

The FumeFX grid is measured 1 unit based as in generic units (or whatever units you happen to be using) just like any other max object. The size of the FumeFX grid’s voxel is determined by the spacing parameter (which is also measured in generic units, or whatever unit you are using).

So for instance, if your Max Grid was set to 1.0 and you added a Fume Grid that was 10,10,10 at 0,0,0 world space with a spacing of 1.o the Max grid and the Fume grid would match.
