#66

finally. Now we only need thinking particles and everybody is happy

#67

Amazing news can’t wait to test Fume on Maya, regarding thinking particles i have never used them so are they better than maya particles/nparticles?

#68

Nice but H12 Pyro is in the place with a new solver now(and H is going fine in the vfx production), maybe too late ?

#69

I do wonder if you’d be able to use the data from Fume and use the blackbody shader posted in this thread…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=HcTFw8v1izY

I used Fume for 3ds max, and the biggest drawback was not being able to do blackbody shading on fire/explosions. If they added this to Fume, I’d be very happy.

#70

It should be out? Any news?

#71

One thing i’ve learned regarding release dates is that they usually get delayed, the same thing happened to Krakatoa for Maya where Thinkbox said on twitter that i would be released in October last year and it came out 2-3 months ago.

#72

what can i see here…?

#73

Yup its out and priced 845 USD the same as 3DS MAX

#74

nobodys talking about this ?

#75

Now that Fume’s been released for maya, I can answer any questions you guys may have as to how it works etc… Luma Pictures and Digic Pictures have been using it and helping write the plugin with Sitni Sati for over a year now.

hit me up with any specifics things you’re wondering about.

#76

I would love to try a demo, would consider buying it for my 13 seat workshop if its possible to evaluate it ?

#77

I see no vray support, any info?

#78

According to their Facebook posts Vray support is coming. not sure when yet…

Hit up Sitni-Sati directly to request a trial license. I believe they do them if you ask.
