Frame Rate Problem!

#1

hey guys , well ill go straight to the point , Basically ive recorded a video at 15fps (1024x768) the camera only does 15 fps . tracked the motion of the video in boujou , and transfered the camera into maya… animated my character , and when rendered the scene , the animation isn’t matching the original footage… it goes faster than the video… ive cheked everything both my video and the rendered frames are at 15 fps... but they do not match when i composite them in After Effects... and for some reason After Effects says that both of them are 30 fps.... Ive changed the frame rate of the animation to 24 and 30 in maya… and it still does not match the footage when i composite… but if you do a playblast in maya everything is perfect aswell as if you render stills…

and by the way i had to render the 15 fps video in Sony Vegas and in render i selected to render as 30 fps , as boujou does not allow anything less than 24 fps… if it is less it speeds it up to 24… i cant speed up the video… but when you do this thing in Sony Vegas i think it multiplies the frame by 2 but the speed of the clip stays the same…

Any Help guys … this project has to be finished soon and im running out of time…

Thanks in Advance

Tim
