Hey all. So I’m working on an animatic for an animated short and I’m having a little trouble. My general routine is to playblast the shot in Maya with FCheck. I then export it as an image sequence from FCheck as targas. I bring that sequence into AE and do what I need to do and then export it as an AVI.
Now in Premiere I have a lot of “placeholder” movies of all my different shots. (I just playblasted them right out of Maya as AVI’s.) So when I bring the AE AVI into Premiere to replace the “placeholder” movie, the AE AVI is always shorter. I’ve looked at the framerate within AE and it’s 24, just like in Maya.
Not sure what to do beyond checking the frame rate’s to make sure they’re the same. So if it’s 24fps in Maya and 24fps in AE shouldn’t they be the same length in Premiere?
Hope that made sense and thanks in advance for any help with this.
