Fracture and FumeFX Problem

In Fracture you can emit particles form the internal faces of the broken geometry. Though when I try to connect the particles to a FumeFX container particle Source they won’t simulate. The particles show up when playing the fracture animation, however when simulating the FumeFX container the particles don’t appear.

Does anyone know if there is something special that has to be done to allow the particles emitted by Fracture to be plugged into a FumeFX container. I have also tried having Fracture use existing particles and still the FumeFX container wont emit from the particles.

Any help would be appreciated.

have you tried using baked particle data ?
