Hi, I was wondering what is the most efficient workflow and asset organization when creating complex projects where several people will be modeling/shading different assets and then they will be referenced into a master scene in Maya.
Does anyone have a good way of storing all the modeling files, shading files, final scenes for referencing, master scene, textures, renders, etc etc.
How do big companies organize their folder structure for the 3d pipeline?
Im aware of the default Maya project folder structure, but it feels that this structure is more for a single person workflow instead of organizing a bunch of assets created by different people that then will be referenced into a main scene.
I don’t think it would change much but I would be using Maya and VRay.
