Hi!
I’ m trying to fill a tube with fluid using Inflow at the bottom of the tube. I’m made the tube an Obstacle.
Problem is the fluid doesnt reacte to the Ostacle at all.
If I make i.e. a uvsphere as obstakle it works fine.
Any ideas?

Have you tried setting the tube ‘Volume init’ setting to Shell

perhaps try calculating the normals inside, or try extruding it so it’s got some depth and recalc normals outside.
Yeah, betcha it’s those surface-normals. Betcha that the liquid would bounce off the outside of the surface but pour right through the inside. Planes are like that.
Hi all, tx for sugestions.
What turned out to do the trick was to increase the resolution to 2-300.
The tube still leak a little so I have to work more on it…

I tried to put in an image of the test but it didnt work out.
