FK mirroring so they match. HOW?!

#1

Hi there

I rotate my LEFT_FK_arm downwards (-Z),

and then i want my RIGHT_FK_arm also rotate downwards in the (-Z).

I can do it when i have my RIGHT_FK_arm grouped under a parent that has been scaled to -1 on the scaleX.
-but this causes havoc to any other pieces i add to the heirarchy, like geometry and constraints.

I can also do it to Joints, with the mirror joints > behaviour command, but thats joints, i need it on the geometry splines.

please help!

Short answer - get rid of that parent that’s scaled -x. I guess that can work in some situations but it seems like something that will just cause problems to me.

yes, thanks Brian
I did mention that i don’t use parents with scale X. I only mentioned it so that people wouldn’t suggest i use it.

I need a solution on the geometry here.

Isn’t there a way to change the local rotation axis of geometry WITHOUT changing the values in the channel box?
Because that will solve all my problems!

Oops sorry, misread your post. I’m not sure in that case, hopefully someone else can advise.
