I’m currently thinking about building a workstation, i work mainly in modeling and rendering, i do my job in Autodesk Maya, Photoshop and After Effects. I don’t play any games and not thinking getting a super ending workstation since i’m a student and still learning, but still want a decent machine. So this is my build so far:
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS P8Z77 - V LE
PROCESSOR: INTEL CORE i7 3770K
GRAPHIC CARD: GIGABYTE GTX 660 TI 3GB GDDR5
RAM: 2x KINGSTON DDR3 8 GB 1600MHz (16GB)
HDD: SEAGATE 2 TB SATA 3
CASE: Thermaltake V2 450W
OPTICAL DRIVE: LG 12X Internal Blu-ray Drive & DVDRW
I’m not really sure if i’d add a SDD, so any advices and opinions are welcome.
