Not sure what you’d call this, apart from crap/rubbish/lame etc obviously. there are several aspects I’m not entirely happy with but I would love some critique to see if what stands out to me is the same as what stands out to everybody else.
Basically I walk to work/home past this alleyway:
and one day a kind of scene occured to me, so I took a picture on my phone, got it into gimp and layered the shit out of it.
Thoughts, suggestions, abuse ?
You need to start from the basics. Learn the critical foundations of visual art before you attempt something like this–in other words, learn to walk first before you try to run and jump. I suggest you read through the sticky threads in the Art Techniques & Theories forum (linked below in my signature) and start your journey there.

Yeah by no means do I think this is perfect and there are lots of ways I would want to make it better, it’s just learning how to do that to a good standard, so you are right I do need to learn to walk before I can run. But, when I have an idea I want to try and get it down as best I can rather than have it lost in the shifting sands of time.
