FingerMoCap in MB

Any idear how to use fingermarker data with the Actor? Do I have too use a Vsk for that?

I don’t think the Actor element in MB is capable of using any other finger ‘mocap’ than a glove device.

I have, however, been playing with the idea myself. Sadly, without much luck. The solution I came to last time we went down that path, was to create a hand rig in Maya that stays constrained to the hand/palm markers, and has IK chains that are being influenced by the finger markers.

After this was done, the simulation was stabilized and used to drive the hand(s) of the original skeleton. Not a very streamlined approach, to be honest.

The actor in 7.5 extension 2 should be able to use markers for the fingers. Has anyone tryed it? And is it good?
