Finger deformations - discuss

working on the best finger rigs. I would like great volume compensation and easy motion editing of the finger (edit just a curves…not every bone) doing everyday things. Pointing, Fist, etc all begs the use of Motion Blender but those poses need to be really great looking.

I’d recommend adding a bit more geometry around the joints to help maintain the finger’s shape. It looks like you’re trying to get away with too little.

Geco…Can you send me the “finger” mesh to study or at least show me a unmetaformed version of that.

i really like how you did your creases in the finger model… small wrinkle “bevels”…very nice indeed. Thank you very much…geco.
