[finalRender] Motion Blur on imported mesh

hey guys i need help.

i’ve taken some XSI animated mesh into Max with the animation on by using PointCache2, but there is a problem for me. when i render the scene in Max with finalRender (finalToon & GI), no motion blur show up, i’ve tried different settings but none worked for me.

maybe i should do it in post-render compositing?

please help… it’ll be most appreciated.

Simple thing first. Did you turn on motion blur in the render settings. also in the object properties fr has its own tab. make sure you turn on motion blur from those settings also.

hi thanks for the reply.

yes i have tried with different combinations in those settings but nothing is showing up. i think it has something to do with using PointCache2, because if i create an object in the same scene, animate it, motion blur shows up properly.

nevermind, i think i managed the motion blur on the objects.

but now another problem:

the finalToon lines are not motion blurred. i have the motion blurred objects with crisp finalToon lines around them. arh…
