Filters in a shared folder

Hi there;

I have many computers running AE and would want to know if is there a method to get sure all of them have the same filters and add-ons installed…

Can filters be in a net shared folder in order to make all computers look for them ins the same location or something like that?.

I’ve been told that if you replace your PlugIns folder with a shortcut to a shared PlugIns folder that would work.

This doesn’t work with PlugIns that needs to be licensed to specific machines though so I never investigated this technique further.

But yes, it would be nice to manage your plug-ins via one central folder.
