file proportion change when dragging to timeline

I’m using AE cs4,
When I add any file/image into timeline, it changes the proportion to square (squeezing ) in width to match the height. and in scale option of that layer it shows 100% for x and y.
Can anyone help me to bring the file/image into timeline in it’s original format

found the answer :slight_smile:

in composition setting the pixel aspect ratio was different, that’s why it was changing its proportion…
