I broke my number 1 rule of how to make time to be a great CG artist.
I got a job, so my art is suffering. Not to mention the freelance stuff I had to complete.
Well the freelance part is done for now.
Anyway, I just started to get back into it… My first quite weekend.
I feel like a rusty bent nail right now , I will push trough none the less.

I don’t know about the rest of you guys but I’m still here.
Here is a small animation update for shot 9.
I will have to fine tune the finger and hand animation but for now just trying
to get the blocking and timing down.

We will be doing mostly animation and technical stuff again.
Not much modeling and texturing…

Tony maybe you can wake up the rest of guys.:wip:

We still need updates from Jon. Need them kids fully rigged for the intro.
If Rich is still alive maybe he can work on finishing the beast mower.

We are pretty close to the end but it looks like we will crawl on our knees to the finish line.:surprised

You guys always seem to wake me when I am having best dreams!

I am still alive, I lost the 3D bug for a while and I am still not right. Other things in work taking over and the fact that I need a holiday is more present than ever. Anyway, I will have a look at the beast mower. I didn’t model the version that was done so far, not sure who did but I will try and find it on the server and if its not there I will start it again.

Spent some time reading through the last few pages…AWESOME stuff…

Dont give up now as you all are soooo close.

We all know that first 90% is the easy part but it’s that last 10% which can be a killer. :twisted:

Keep it up, you can make it and it will be worth it. There is just way too much top notch stuff here for any thing less as an outcome.

I got bad news from Sager notebooks. I won’t be able to get my laptop as scheduled. The 8800m vid cards have been put on hold so I’m in limbo till I get home. So it will be about 2 weeks before I can do the particles. Send me an email or PM me and I’ll fill you in on what’s up.

Well i guess sleepy time is over then…As the big O said though not much modelling to be done on this. I still need to finish texturing the house so I will try and get that sorted ASAP. Not sure if you need anything else with regards to models but if you do just ask.

You better make that a wheelbarrow Kid Mesh, you might need to pile us in and carry us over the finish line :stuck_out_tongue: Either way we will make it…

Sorry guys!! I have been uber busy with some literal “free” lance work with Pros VS GI Joes. I think thats going to be cool. If you hear about it on MTV let me know. :slight_smile: I gotta get back to painting for class. peace out and great job guys. lets keep it up.

Good to hear from you Jon. Well we will be here, so any time you are ready to jump in again.

I’m still working on shot 9, but it’s been a pain :banghead: trying to get the boy to draw on the paper.
But it is still coming along.

Give me about another week or so for the next update.

Haha, that’s some awesome work on the mowerbeast.
I remember trying to make the best out of your sketches when I modelled it - but now I clearly see what you were aiming for :thumbsup:

Hey Guys,

Just popping in again to let you know I am still alive. The mower is looking very cool BigO as always you amaze me with your texture work.

I am hoping to get some stuff sorted agin soon, work pretty much drains me these days and I have been bitten by the Warcraft bug so that sucks up more time :stuck_out_tongue: Anyway I will be back with some stuff again soon.

Just saying hello, letting you all know that I’m still working at it.
Moving at a snails pace but still moving. Shot 9 is much harder then I expected.

I completed the note pad animation. Now I’m trying to animate the dog.
My first try , I put him too close to the mower and could not fix it.
So I’m gonna start it over all again.

I haven’t posted any updates cuz not much to show yet.

But just to prove that I’m still at it, I will post this crappy
first try at animating the dog for shot 9.

it is real short like 1 sec …:blush:
