Sorry dude. I didn’t notice this. In general, when we don’t give feedback, it’s either because you’re on the right track, or just that we want the image to be taken further before we comment. That said, all three judges are in crunch time mode at work and we have absolutely no time for anything. Any extra time we can master, we spend checking and moderating here on CG Talk.
Your image is definitely headed the right way! Composition works, and it’s all quite interesting, although I’d dial back the clouds to reveal some more structures. The main thing is your colour balance, which is off. Your FG part is monochrome while the sky has lots of hues. Do not de-saturate the BG but rather bring some colour unity across the entire image! Introduce colours from the sky all over in your lighting and think about the light direction globally.

Keep going! I like it.

Heyo Dmitriy,

Just as Milan has said, keep going! Color palette looks great. However, it has come to our attention that your concept is coming from Thomas Pringle’s own concept (http://pringleart.com/highlights/ 4th image top right). I know taking other people’s work as inspiration is ok, but to use it directly in your own image and not crediting their hard work is not the way to go. Be sure to give credit where it’s due, and to not use other people’s work in the final product of your own work. Thanks!
