FCP5 H.264 is not getting rendered

Hi,

I am using FCP5 and when I choose in the compressor H.264 (which is amazing quality) and I render, rendering is not working but when I use DV-PAL ( :sad: ), the render is working.

Any idea what is wrong.

Too little information. What format you render from, what settings in compressor for h.264, what error message when the render job quits?

it is
mov
frame size 720*480
compressor H.264

in the sequence settings,I make same frame size which 720*480 and same compressor H.264 and I click command + R, I got no message, just it refused to render,the render window appears for one second or less,then it disappears.
But when I make in the sequence settings DV-PAL instead of H.264, it works.

I tried to render it by going to sequence then render all but not working.Also I tried render both or render video, still not working.

First thing - don’t edit in H264. It’s a client codec, not an editing codec. If command +r doesn’t work - check out the other render options in the sequence menu.

There are tons of options for rendering a sequence. Check all of them and try ^R.
