FBX Camera Import Issue ( 3ds Max )

#1

Hi guys;

I am working with Modo and 3ds Max . I have a scene that has a camera in 3ds Max.

I want to export this camera into Modo without loosing any position and attribute data. ( Fov for example )

Both Modo and 3ds Max are set to "Metres " as their defult working unit setup.

When I export and OBJ file from Max and import it into Modo, everything works just fine.

However, when I use .fbx format, I always come across with the scaling issue . Meshes, cameras are not exported properly.

What can I do to fix this issue ?

If you know something about that, please share it with me.

Best Regards;

Ozan

you could try exporting it in COLLADA .dae format… if its not working I suggest you to scroll the modo community forum…

Thank bro. But I have already tried to use COLLADA file format. It did not go for it.

Camera is a big problem for me. I do not know what to do.

I am going to take a look the link you just sent me in your post.

I have to solve this problem because beaing unable to use cameras beetwen these softwares is very similar to having a Bugatti without an engine.

Thanks a lot
