Fastest way to model head from photo

Does anyone know if there is software or a plugin that allows one to model heads quickly from one photograph without having to go from scratch in Maya? I know it is common to just get a generic head and start from there but I didn’t know if there was a quicker way. I’ve seen some cheapy looking stuff and didn’t know if anyone has any experience with this.
