Just to clarify: Are we trying recreate a scene from those movies, or are we creating a scene based around the concept of them?

Good question.

The way i see it, is that the scene has to be based around the concept of the effect in the film.

Ah cool… was just making sure, because a direct recreation would make the Best Story award uneccessary.

I dont see why not.
Hell you will need them for the "Blade" type disintegration shots

But they have to look as close to photo real as possible.

Hello,
I am new to this forum, and really excited about the concept. I have 2 questions:

  1. This started a bit late in the month, when is the due date?

  2. Can this be 100% digital models that look realistsic eg: no footage?
