DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERSONAL AND ENTERPRISE LICENSE

There is no difference between Personal and Enterprise License other than it is for personal use or use in companies. Like other software, we frequently check the use of Personal License in companies, which will be in breach of the License Agreement. If you are a freelancer, you are eligable for the use of Personal License, however if you are to continue the use of Marvelous Designer in Enterprise conditions, you will have to purchase an Enterprise License.

WHAT IS PATTERN-BASED GARMENT DESIGN ?
Pattern-based garment design uses separate template pieces that are “sewn together” to create a finished garment. This is the standard way clothing is made in the fashion industry and is very applicable to virtual garment design. Rather than sculpting clothing on 3D avatars, pattern-based garments are constructed separately and are then draped onto the 3D avatar, making UV-unwrapping work unnecessary. This process allows for realistic simulation as well as a flexible data archive of garment work that can be reformed or reused for future designs and/or avatars.
