Hey Peter.

This looks pretty cool. just wondering do you plan to do this for softimage aswell? and if so is there a beta program going on this?

also with the service of processing the footage online in to the correct format, is there any price guide about this? is the price based on seconds of footage i take it?

this does look awesome though. great work guys.

Yes Daniel, we are almost complete with our beta program for Softimage, we will keep you posted this release. As for pricing, we are not going to be licensing the software, it is free and you can have as many users of Faceware as you like, the version of Faceware you can download on our site is the fullly functioning release. Essentially the software does not work without processed footage (IMPDs).

The software is available to evaluate for free and the fully functioning software allows you to process on a pay as you go basis but we also offer additional subscription and support for volume customers with processing as low as as low as $25 per second.

PM me if you’d like more information or a quote on a specific project.

Cheers!

Peter

Sorry but even at $25.00 per second I’ll be sticking with Face Robot then.

thanks for replying peter.

glad your working on a version for softimage. could be a real time saver if a full on facial project were to arrise.

Sorry but even at $25.00 per second I’ll be sticking with Face Robot then.

Cheers,

J

it does seem a little high priced. but if it were to give you spot on consistence results, the price isnt too bad.

say if you had 30 second of facial animation to do. would cost $750. dont think a animator could do 30 seconds in say 3 days? with say a rate of $250 a day. but it all depends on the result. plus you can use face robot with it?? i have been meaning to try out face robot. just heard it can bit a little heavy.

seems a cool concept anyways. thanks again for replying Peter.
