Extrude Repeat Question Maya

#1

Hello, I’m learning Maya, now, I’m trying to create a rubix
https://www.google.co.jp/search?q=rubix&tbm=isch&imgil=a20TLpKG9Rke3M%3A%3BVwKiibmgdHE5WM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.instructables.com%252Fid%252FHow-to-Solve-a-Rubix-Cube%252F&source=iu&pf=m&fir=a20TLpKG9Rke3M%3A%2CVwKiibmgdHE5WM%2C_&usg=__c589DUOQhOAdzXY-YWp6Z8eIqZw%3D&biw=1138&bih=491&ved=0ahUKEwjPnIKeirPNAhUJi5QKHYnUC2EQyjcIKw&ei=RghmV8_hCYmW0gSJqa-IBg

Yes because Rubix is awesome.

I’m wondering, is there a easy way to extrude on all the face of my cube ( same extrusion). I want to do the extrusion you can see on the next picture:

What is the best solution to get that?

Tanks you very much for your help, Rémi

Yes, you can extrude like this on every single face at the same time by turning off ‘keep faces together’. I think for maya 2016 it is located in channel box/layer editor after executing extrude command, by default it will be turned on.

Hello, yes it’s working. it’s much faster to extrude in that case with ‘‘keeping face together’’ turn-off

Thanks you very much :keenly: Rémi
