Hi there,
I have a scene with four characters and every character has its own character set.
Today I realized, that Mental Ray (or is it Maya?) takes incredible long to start the renderer.
I did some research: One character alone: 2 min. till MR renders the first frame.
Two Characters: 4+ min.
three: 7+ min.
If I delete the Character Sets: Start in round about 10 seconds…
Can anyone explain me this?
Is it possible to Bake the Trax animations and delete the character Sets?
