i have selected the edges i have added later, and u can see the color is different, why?
it seems the mesh is disturbed from here, when i extrude a vertex from there, it disturbs the mesh…i am using the TAB for subD
Exrtrude vertex, mesh not smooth..
Um, because you selected it.

You are changing the topology of the mesh, why wouldn’t it look like you changed it. If you just wanted more verts/polys don’t start extruding things just subdivide them.
i meant that at the places i have selected the edges(only for marking), thats the place which seems a bit sharp. and when i extrude a vertex at that intersection, the mesh flow seems disturbed. these are edges that i have added later, to put in detail. Also the color of the mesh is two shaded. means to seperate shades of gray, it seems that modo is indicating some disturbance on the mesh.
It looks like you have used the edge weight tool to change the subdivision weight map.
To view edge weights, hightlight the subdivision weight map from the vertex map list. Change the open GL viewport shading to vertex map (from the options at the top-left of a 3D viewport). Edges that have had their values changed will be red (for positive values) or blue (for negative values). I suspect some of your edges will be red because maybe you acidentally used the edge weight tool.
Anyway, if you want to reset all the edges to zero, simply right click on the subdivision weight map from the vertex map list and select ‘clear’
