Exposure & Gamma in Octane for color grading in Resolve

#1

I debated asking this question in Color Grading forums and I may still do that, but it seems appropriate to post it here as well since this is mostly a question about Octane settings and lighting.

Imagine a scenario where you are making renders to be used in a commercial, edited alongside footage from an Alexa. Both the cg and the video will be graded by a colorist to match the looks. I’m wondering what the best practices are in getting cg clips to a colorist.

Are my renders considered LOG if I output in Linear mode at EXP: 1.0 GAMMA: 2.2 ?

(I know this doesnt get into the passes and compositing side of things, but lets assume you didn’t have the option to use passes and just had to send out a file for now. Feel free to tell me if this makes no sense btw)
