I exported Vues sky in different formats and they are all bad quality.
There must be a way to export this correctly
Need to use it in 3dsmax
Thanx

6000x6000
according to me thats a correct size.
the problem are the clouds they don’t seem realistic, just white splashes
Well, the exported picture is just a picture automapped to some shape, so it can´t really be soo realistic. I´t likly printing clouds on a ball. They´ll never look like clouds.
There would be 2 ways of getting the clouds realistic then.
A): Export the Scene and render it in Vue.
B): Get Ozone, It´s compatible with 3dmax.
Do you have xStream, or just Infinite? Because if you have have xStream you can just open the scene in Max and render with Mental Ray.
If not, what version of Vue and are you using?
I wanted it because i thought it was good. It’s for a real time project, so i need it to be a texture.
I ended up finding some on cgtexture. Knew the site but never thought they would have ready made 360 sky pics

I haven’t done it in a while, but I did render out HDRs from in Infinite, and use those for scenes, and they worked fine (with clouds etc, only lens flares don’t work right they get smeared vertically), I exported them damn big as “UV Sphere”, iirc.
