I have book knowledge with Maya programming but when it comes to practical its not working in my end. For the exam I have used www dot exam-labs dot com/exam/Maya12-A and other guide materials which have helped me in passing the exam and in explaining the programming language.
I have knocking each and every job opportunities to get into a programming job but I couldn’t able to grab a job. So how shall I prepare for the interviews and transform into a better programmer?
“Book knowledge” is not enough
Can you provide a link to some examples of your work? Do you have hands-on experience with maya in a production environment? Do you specialize in rigging, animation, pipeline, something else?
If you can provide good answers to these questions, then you should have no trouble finding work if you keep looking.

Yeah i just check the questions in that exam…hmm…not sure what’s the point of that exam especially in programming/scripting. My guess is that absolutely nobady will give someone job based on result on that exam or any exam/certificate…
As far as i know and have seen, everything is in portfolio, experience and knowledge. If you want programming job then do you know C++, Python and MEL? Are you at very least on level where you can comfortably write some simple scripts using Python/MEL?
If you can then those scripts are your portfolio that will give you job…everything else, really, doesn’t matter.
